Welcome to La Leche League

Our Mission is to help mothers to breastfeed through support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the entire family.

At the present time, La Leche League meetings are not being held in person.  Many La Leche League Groups are holding online meetings.

La Leche League of Herndon/Reston PM offers monthly Series meetings on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00pm at St. Timothy's Episcopal in Herndon, VA. Weekly breastfeeding cafes provide informal support and education every Tuesday from 11:00AM - 1:00pm at the Starbucks in the Fox Mill shopping center.

LLL Leaders are volunteer breastfeeding counselors who have breastfed their own babies, and are active in providing breastfeeding support in their communities. Our Group exists solely on donations to pay for our meeting space, updated library books, and continuing education for our volunteers. We accept checks at meetings, or donate using PayPal. Used breast pumps and accessories can also be donated - these will be used for demonstration purposes only.

Library

Our Group has an extensive lending library of books of all kinds - pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, parenting. We are happy to lend these resources to our local community.

Join our mailing list

Our mailing list offers meeting and cafe reminders, as well as general breastfeeding and parenting information.
